Returns & Refund Policy for Digital Videography Products
1. Overview
Thank you for choosing Skyflicks Limited. Please review this policy carefully before purchasing any of our digital videography products (e.g., downloadable footage, video files, editing templates).
2. Cooling-Off / Right to Cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, consumers generally have a 14-day cancellation ("cooling-off") period starting from the date the contract is agreed. This allows you to cancel and get a full refund for most online purchases.
Important Exception for Digital Downloads:
Once you start downloading or streaming the digital product, your right to cancel no longer applies, provided we inform you clearly about this and you acknowledge it at checkout
So, if you haven’t downloaded the product and notify us within 14 days of purchase, we will issue a full refund. But once the download begins, cancellation rights expire.
3. Faulty or Misdescribed Digital Products
In line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be:
Of satisfactory quality
Fit for purpose
As described
If the product fails to meet any of these standards:
You may request a repair or replacement.
If a repair/replacement cannot fix the issue within a reasonable time or without significant inconvenience, you may request a partial or full refund
If the product causes damage to your device (e.g., corrupts files, crashes software), you may claim compensation or repair costs, provided you supply valid evidence
Refunds for agreed claims will be processed within 14 days, using the same payment method unless otherwise agreed
4. No Download = Full Refund (Cooling Off Applies)
If you change your mind and haven’t downloaded the product yet, we are happy to offer a full refund—just contact us within 14 days of purchase.
5. After Download — Faulty Product Remedy
Once downloaded, refunds are only available if the product is:
Faulty, corrupt, or incompatible with your system (and wasn’t clearly stated before purchase).
Not fit for purpose or not as described.
We’ll first attempt a repair or replacement. If that fails, we’ll offer a partial or full refund, depending on the severity of the fault—within a reasonable timeframe and without inconvenience to you.
6. How to Request a Refund, Repair, or Replacement

A description of the issue.
Screenshots, error logs, or other evidence if applicable.
We’ll acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
If eligible, we'll proceed with a repair, replacement, or refund—processed within 14 days of agreement.
7. Exclusions
We cannot accept returns or provide refunds if:
You simply changed your mind after downloading the product.
The product works as described or according to its intended specifications.
You caused the issue (e.g., misuse, unsupported system).
You were warned about limitations (e.g., beta versions) at purchase.
8. Statutory Compliance
This policy aligns with:
